Obituary of James Frederick Wanamaker
It is with sadness the family announces the death of James Frederick "Ted" Wanamaker which took place on December 28, 2015 at Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on August 25, 1931 in Nauwigewauk, NB, he was the son of the late Lawson and Lena (Campbell) Wanamaker.
Ted was a lifelong resident of Nauwigewauk where he was a dairy farmer. He was a member of the Guernsey Association and the PC Party. On September 5, 2012 Ted moved and became a resident at the Dr. V.A. Snow Center where the staff loved him.
Ted is survived by his two brothers; John (Gladys) Wanamaker of Sussex, NB and Sterling (Doris) of Kentville, NS along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers Walter and William.
He is resting at Reid’s Funeral Home, 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB (506) 832-5541 with visitation on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 from 6 to 9 PM. Funeral Service will be held at Reid’s Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, December 31 at 11AM with Rev. Canon David Barrett officiating. Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Quispamsis, NB.
