It is with sadness the family of Alan Neil Dickeson, age 55, of French Village, NB, the husband of Debbie (McKay) Dickeson, announces his passing, which occurred on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB. Born on January 11, 1960 in Toronto,ON, he was a son of Marjorie (Sullivan) Dickeson Yeomans and the late Blair Dickeson. Alan is survived by his loving wife Debbie; sons Shawn and David Dickeson of French Village; sisters Susan Gallant (Paul) of Hampton, NB and Jean Ann Dickeson of Cody’s, NB; brother Brian Dickeson(Carol) of Welsford, NB and several nieces and nephews. Special friends Caleb, (stem cell donor) Olga and Neil Dartch. He was predeceased by his biological father Charles Friars. Alan was a family man who loved spending time with his family. He is resting at Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, with visitation on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm. Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Dan Lamos will take place Thursday, October 29, 2015, 11am at Reid’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment at the Hampton Rural Cemetery. Donations in memory of Alan may be made to Canadian Cancer Society (leukemia) or to the memorial of the donor’s choice.
