Obituary of John Walker Clark
Surrounded by the love of his family, John “Jack” Walker Clark passed away at 3:10 a.m. on Friday, July 3, 2026, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Perry Point, New Brunswick, on July 26, 1946, he was the beloved son of the late John and Madeline Clark.
Though our hearts are filled with sorrow, we find comfort in the blessed hope of Christ’s return and the promise of the resurrection. With faith and hope, we look forward to the day when we will be reunited with Dad in God’s eternal kingdom.
Jack is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 46 years, Yvonne Clark, whose love, support, and companionship were a constant source of strength and joy throughout their life together. He also leaves behind his children, Barb (Dave) Beck, Walker (Stacey-Lynne) Clark, Sue Ellen Allen, Robert (Flavia) Clark, Connie (Paul) Hanlon, Danny Floyd (Rita Hanlon), Bonnie (Tom) Loughery, Wanda Monahan (Bob Byers), Darren (Kelly) Floyd and Roxanne (Jamie) Dorion; his brother Steve (Margot) Clark. Jack was a proud grandfather to 24 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy.
Besides his parents, Jack was predeceased by his grandsons, Pauly Hanlon, Warner Clark and Tom Loughery Jr. He was also predeceased by his siblings, Robert Clark, Dorris Sleep, Gerald Clark, Peter Clark, and Keith Clark.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home, 1063 Main Street, Hampton, New Brunswick. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 6, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at the Barnesville Seventh-Day Adventist Church Cemetery. A reception will follow at 454 Salt Springs Road, Southfield, New Brunswick. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend.
