Some friendships are so special they become part of who we are. Jody was that to me. We grew up together in Hampton from the age of 3, and some of my most treasured memories were the countless days spent at her house after school, laughing until we cried, being silly, and simply enjoying the kind of friendship that only comes once in a lifetime.
No matter how much time passed or where life took us, we always stayed connected. We could sit and reminisce for hours about our younger years, the adventures we shared, and the memories that shaped us. She was more than a best friend, I loved her like a sister.
My heart is broken knowing she is gone. The world feels quieter without her laughter and her presence in it. I will forever cherish the beautiful memories we made together and hold them close to my heart.
Sending my deepest condolences to her brother Bradley and to all of her extended family during this heartbreaking time.
