Obituary of Isaac Plantin

It is with great sadness that the family of Isaie “Isaac” Plantin announce his passing which occurred on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Shippagan, NB on May 3, 1938 he was the son of the late Adelard and Adenise Plantin.

Isaac will be remembered for the life he lived, the people he loved, and the time shared with family – moments like these that will stay with us forever

The Plantin family are incredibly grateful to the amazing staff at the Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit. Your kindness and compassion shown towards Isaie and his family during his final days will not be forgotten.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB and will be held privately. Donations in memory of Isaac may be made to the Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
