I remember our time together at Passekeag School, a one room with Classes from Grades 1-8 and Grade 9 for George, Sandra Bettle and Anne Doherty.. My thoughts and prayers are with Betty and Family. May your beautiful memories bring you comfort in the difficult days ahead. George was a dedicated person and friend to many and his volunteering will be long remembered. Sad to hear of George leaving us .In 1959 George helped me and showed me how to change a flat tire on my 1956 Pontiac outside the hall in Bloomfield. I was 16 and he sort of took me under his wing. . He had a 47 Pontiac and cars were our connection I wish I had kept in touch over the years and meant to but never seemed to make it happen.
