I am so sorry to just be reading this announcement now. To Barb, family and all who loved Lorne: Please accept my sincere condolences on your family's loss. I have many great memories of Lorne and Barb as a young married couple with three well-behaved little ones. I spent a good deal of time with Susan, Richard and Jeffrey and I used to thank Lorne and Barb often for the frequent and well-paying babysitting gig that supported me through high school. My heart is with you at this difficult time. May you feel God's love in every kind word and gesture received. Cherish the memories and remember the love.

Dear Barb, Susan, Richard, Jeffrey and families. Ross and are are so sorry to hear about Lorne's passing. It is hard to believe your family would have been the first people our family met when we came to Canada over 60 years ago. Lorne enjoyed a very active lifestyle and he was so fortunate to have you all enjoy and share the times at the farm and harvesting blueberries. He was blessed to have been surrounded by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Of course Barb you were the love of his life and you will miss him dearly. My deepest condolences to Lorne's family. I had the privilege of working with Lorne for a few years at Lantic Sugar and later in my career had his grandson Graeme in my class at NBCC. I remember Lorne as a hard working instrumentation tech who had a great love for his family and his farm. May he rest in peace.

My sincere condolences to Barb and family on Lorne’s passing. Being born in the same year and growing up together in Upham we shared many memories like hunting trips and times at the camp on Silver Hill. In 1957 we travelled to the dance hall in Nauwigewauk where I met Shirley and Lorne stood by my side at our wedding and then just 1 year later I stood up with him when he and Barb married . Over the years we shared many meals together ,quite often it was fish and chips and Lorne would always have a piece of blueberry pie.
May he rest in peace
