Obituary of Philip Albert Dann

It is with great sadness that the family of Philip Albert Dann announce his passing which occurred on Monday, November 17, 2025 at the Dr. V. A. Snow Centre, Hampton, NB.  Born in Kingston, NB, on September 21, 1933, he was the son of the late James and Laura (Braman) Dann.

Philip is survived by his loving wife Kathleen Dann (Cavanagh) of Hampton, NB; children: Philip Charles Dann (Matthew Annis) of Montreal, QC and Laura Marie Dann of Lower Norton, NB; sisters: Ida Neil of Hatfield Point, NB and Dorothy Friars of Guelph, ON; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to his parents, Philip was predeceased by his brothers Henry Dann and John Dann; and sisters Laura “Alice” Hanlon and Mary Bird.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB. A private family graveside service will be held at Church of the Ascension Cemetery, Lower Norton, NB. Donations in the memory of Philip may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
