Obituary of Gail Margaret Weyman
It is with deep sadness that the family of Gail Margaret Weyman announce that she peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, surrounded by her family on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at Bobby’s Hospice, Saint John, NB. Born in Saint John, NB, on July 13, 1951, she was the daughter of the late John and Doris (Cain) Logan.
Gail is survived by her loving husband David Weyman; children Shauna Truter (John) of BC and Stephen Weyman of NB; beloved grandchildren: Victoria, Kyden, Leeza and Zachary; sisters: Lynn Martin and Kathy Sharpe (David) of NB and Cindy Harroun (Peter) of NS; as well as many extended family.
Gail was a much loved, spirited, and formidable mother and grandmother who brought a can-do attitude to everything she pursued. Her steadfast faith in God guided her every step and led her to impact many lives by spreading His love. She was equally loving and committed to her husband, David, with whom she just celebrated her 50th anniversary.
She will be fondly remembered by her church family of Saint John First Wesleyan where she attended, worked and served for nearly 30 years. Her passion for her grandchildren, for serving and helping others, and for being a beacon of light to the world will be greatly missed.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB. A private family graveside service will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Hampton, NB. Donations in the memory of Gail may be made to Bobby’s Hospice, The Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
