Obituary of Carol Morneau

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Carol Ann Morneau announce her passing which occurred on Friday, October 17, 2025, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born in Sackville, NB, April 19, 1944, the only daughter of the late Walter and Anita (Lirette) Buchanan.

Carol will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 64 years, Edward Morneau of Hatfield Point, NB; sons: Steven Morneau (Dorothy) of Welland, ON, Jeff Morneau of St. Catherines, ON and Mark Morneau (Jodi) of Welland, ON; grandchildren: James, Jenna, Morgan, Ethan and Tyler; brothers: Bill Buchanan (Sonia) of Sackville, NB, Rick Buchanan (Helen) of Moncton, NB and Terry Buchanan (Rosa) of Moncton, NB; sister-in-law: Kelly Buchanan of Moncton, NB. Besides her parents, Carol was predeceased by her brother Tim Buchanan.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB. A private family interment will take place at Holy Rosary & St Vincent Ferrier Cemetery. A reception will occur on Friday, October 24, 2025 at 1:30pm from Jones Funeral Home and Cremation Services (70 Bridge Street, Sackville NB).
