Obituary of Paulette Coggan

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Paulette Jean Coggan announce her passing which occurred on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born in Saint John, NB, September 30, 1946, daughter of the late Malcolm and Helen Kirkpatrick, and stepfather Joseph Arthur Doiron.

Paulette will be missed by her loving husband of 63 years, William Coggan of Rothesay, NB; sons: Billy Coggan (Cathy) of Upham, NB, Brad Coggan of Upham, NB and daughter Cindy Coggan-Wesoloski of Damascus, NB; grandchildren: Allysa Wesoloski, Christopher Cadieux, and Callie Fennel; brothers: Malcolm Kirkpatrick (Ninie) of Saint John, NB, Ken Kirkpatrick (Diane) of Kingston, NB, Rick Kirkpatrick (Margaret) of Saint John, NB; sister Nancy Russell (Gary Harris) of Saint John, NB; sisters-in-law: Shirley Kirkpatrick of Kingston, NB, Diane Coggan of Moncton, NB; brother-in-law Jack Doucette of Rothesay, NB.

Besides her parents, Paulette was predeceased by her brother Fred Kirkpatrick; sisters: Connie Wright (Art) and Dianne McKay (Bert); sisters-in-law: Lois Muir (Ted) and Barb Doucette; brother-in-law Carl Coggan; son-in-law George Wesoloski.

Paulette was a selfless and loving person, always putting everyone else’s need before her own.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, where a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
