Obituary of Ken Smith
It is with great sadness that the family of Kenneth Lewis Smith announce his passing which occurred on Friday, September 5th, 2025, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB. Born in Upham, NB, on October 27th, 1942, he was the son of the late Leonard and Greta (Fowler) Smith.
Ken is survived by his children: Leonard Smith of Upham, NB, Leslie Smith (Sue Coleman-Smith) of Upham, NB and Rachel Duffley of Woodstock, NB; grandchildren: Liam Duffley, Logan Smith, Carson Smith, Mason Smith, Hudson Smith and Raelyn Smith; niece Gloria Dempster; close friend Susan Smith; as well as many other extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, Ken was predeceased by his second wife Mary Smith (Brennan).
Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB. Interment will be held at 3pm on Thursday, September 11th, 2025 at St. Peter’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Upham, NB. A time of fellowship will follow at the WI Hall, Upham, NB.
