Obituary of Cindy Sommerville
It is with great sadness that the family of Cynthia “Cindy” Mae Sommerville announce her passing which occurred on Thursday, September 4th, 2025, at the Carleton Kirk Nursing Home, Saint John, NB. Born in Saint John, NB, on March 18th, 1965, she was the daughter of the late Keith and Valerie (Nolter) Sommerville.
Cindy is survived by her siblings: Mike Sommerville (Shelley) of Barnesville, NB, Mark Sommerville (Ginger Brunner) of British Columbia and Scott Sommerville (Nina Marshall) of Barnesville, NB; uncles Bob Sommerville (Brenda) and Shane Scribbans; aunt Sonja McCoy of Alberta; nieces and nephews: Zachary Sommerville, Samuel Sommerville, Kalene Marshall, Gavin Sommerville, Avry Sommerville and Callen Sommerville; great nieces and nephews: Colton King, Bryar Sommerville and Easton Sommerville.
In addition to her parents, Cindy was predeceased by her paternal grandparents Ernest and Ethel Sommerville; maternal grandparents: Benny and Phyllis Nolter; and uncle Ernie Nolter.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB. A graveside celebration of life will take place at 1:00pm on Thursday, Sept 11th, 2025 at Barnesville Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
The family would like to express a sincere thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of Carleton Kirk Nursing home for their excellent care shown towards Cindy and her family. Your kindness and compassion will not be forgotten.
