Obituary of Robert Thomas Rydwansky

With heavy hearts the family of Reverend Robert (Bob) T. Rydwansky announces that he entered into the presence of the Lord on August 24, 2025. Bob was born in Quincy, Massachusetts USA on February 24, 1949; the son of the late Frank Sr. and Rose (Melsky) Rydwansky.

Bob's faith in Jesus guided his every step. He will be remembered for his boisterous, joyful spirit and his love for God's word. From an early age Bob was a faithful servant of the Lord. He attended Eastern Pentecostal Bible College where he met his loving wife Bugsy and continued his studies at Evangel University. He served as pastor of Fairfield Baptist Church for 13 years yet mentoring  youth was his passion. 

In recent years Bob would spend his Monday's in the park ministering.  He wanted to see many people come to know Christ. Through outreach, prayer and worship he achieved his goal. 

Bob was a big kid at heart and was so proud to have the title of Grampy. He shared his love of trains, tank games, music, gardening, sports- football, frisbee, horseshoes, table hockey, fishing, kick the can, and Dr. Pepper floats.

Bob is survived by his wife of 46 years, Carolyn (Weston) of Bayview, NB; children: Jeffrey (Shannon) of Ayer, Massachusetts and Jessica (Fraser) of Long Point, NB; cherished grandchildren: Makayla, Jaxen, Jasper and Juniper; beloved brother Frank (Karen); as well as special nieces and nephews, extended family, and countless friends. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, and will be held privately.
