Obituary of Wendell Jones

It is with great sadness that the family of Wendell James Jones announce his passing which occurred on Saturday, July 19^th, 2025, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB.  Born in Titusville, NB on June 22, 1938, he was the son of the late Jones Baird and May Thompson.

Wendell served in the Canadian Armed Airforce and was also a very skilled millwright, welder and ran his own repair shop in his later years.

Wendell is survived by his children: Guy Baird, Glenn Baird and Cindy Smith; sister Vina Waddell; as well as many friends and extended family members. In addition to his parents, Wendell was predeceased by his daughter Laurie Ann Baird.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB. A graveside service will take place at 4:00pm on Thursday, July 31^st, 2025 at Titus Hill Cemetery, Titusville, NB.
