My deepest condolences to the family. Gone too soon, from the early days of school to the last, she always had a smile and a hello. Later in life as a Paramedic I had the privilege to have a few patients brought to Wandas very capable hands and soft soothing voice for both mothers to be and terrified Paramedics. Wanda you were one of a kind and you will be missed, I feel however you will be welcomed with open arms.

To the entire Gass Family,
I am so very sorry to hear about Wanda's passing.
Wanda was not only a wonderful nurse, but was a wonderful teacher. I had the honour and privilege of being one of her nursing students. Wanda had a way of instructing that made sense and stuck with us all. I am the nurse that I am today because of her taking me under her wing. Having spent several hours with this kind woman, it was easy to see and witness how much she cared for others and how deeply she loved her family. She always loved talking about her children and 'Grands'. Wanda was not only a mentor but a wonderful friend. We had many laughs and lots of 'Heart To Heart' hugs when she visited our favorite place on earth (Paradise Island), Prince Edward Island.
You will always have a piece of my heart sweet friend. What a blessing to know you. You will be missed.
Tears were shed this afternoon driving past your place in Hunter River.
I will be praying for peace and comfort for you all.
Much love,
Krista Stackhouse

Although I didn't know Wanda well, I did spend an evening sitting and chatting by her side, at a friend's home. That and a few other small visits. That one evening tho, was all it took to leave a wonderful impression on me.
We continued to share a love of our families thru Facebook. I particularly enjoyed her time she spent baking with her grandkids..knowing how special it was to her. And seeing how her beautiful face lit up, when chatting about her family.
Your hearts are no doubt broken to have her leave you. Devastating.
My heart is with you as you say goodbye to the love and light of your lives.
Wanda..your smile alone could light up a room. You were indeed a beautiful woman.
Rest easy.

To the Gass Family,
Our condolences go out to you at this very difficult time. There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to loose the people we love. Being the (Nana) of 4 of her grandchildren, I can say they adored her to pieces! Also for my daughter Kristen, Wanda was an amazing example of a strong and loving woman. She wrapped Kristen in THE GASS FAMILY LOVE. I know she will be deeply missed

Wanda was a wonderful lady, she was there front and centre for our 3 boys births, Evan, Andrew, Ryan Gass. Wanda always had a smile on her face that had this glow about her. Thoughts and prayers for all the family ! RIP dear Sister-in-Law.

My mother was absolutely amazing. For those who don’t know I was born with dry skin and from a very young age had to cream my entire body. Unfortunately some of those creams would sting and I would be upset and ask mom for no sting stuff. Mom being mom would come up with a way to make it fun and take my mind off the pain. That way was covering my entire body in the cream that would take forever to rub in. And she would make zebra marks on my arm, legs and belly calling me zebra boy. Right to the end she would always say that I was her little zebra boy.
I love you mom you were truly amazing
