Obituary of Holly Carson

It is with great sadness that the family of Holly Bertha Carson announces her passing which occurred on Monday, May 26, 2025, with her children by her side, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB on June 10, 1973, she was the daughter of Dianne (Weir) Carson and the late Reginald Carson.

Holly loved her family, she enjoyed trips to PEI, the beach, and doing things together with her kids. Holly loved growing up on a farm and always wanted to see a highland cow in real life which we got to do before she passed. Holly was so selfless and took pride in caring for people and helping those in need, she always made people feel at home. She always wanted to get better to go back to work, she truly loved being in LPN. Holly was a social butterfly, no matter where you would go with her, she would always find someone she knew. 

Mom was so strong, some may even say she was a little on the stubborn side. She was truly a fighter and an inspiration to us kids. She will truly be missed 

Besides her mother, Holly is survived by her loving children: Kennedi, Connor, Evan and Sam Carson, all of Smithtown, NB; brother Kevin Carson (Sandra) and sister Wanda Gass (Donnie) of Smithtown, NB; as well as nieces and nephews. Holly was predeceased by her father Reginald Carson.

The family would like to say a special thank you for the wonderful care given from the Extra Mural nurses, the Oncology Department and the Palliative Care Team. We also want to thank Rev. David Barrett for the years of friendship and guidance, your kindness will not be forgotten.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, where visitation will be held, Thursday, May 29^th, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00PM. The funeral service will be Friday, May 30^th at 11:00AM in Reids Chapel. Donations in memory of Holly may be made to the Living Memorial.
