Worked with Jack when I was Young, one Heck of a solid and competent Carpenter, if there was ever a man who showed strong work ethic..that was Jack !!! Condolences to all family and friends !!!

I was checking the obituaries of Reid's Funeral Home and saw that Jackie had passed away. Your family was always very dear to us as we were neighbours for many years and saw you all grow up. Dad and Mom were always a part of your lives. Even though this note is late, I just want to extend my sincere condolences to all of you. Never easy losing a close family member and Jackie was a really great man, so caring and thoughtful. He is now in the arms of Jesus.

Jack was one of the nicest men I have ever met. He welcomed us into the community and treated us like family. I will miss those chats we had while I was on horseback and so many more memories. Rest easy Jack.

Everyone that knew "Gramps" would all say the same thing. He was the kindest man they had met. He was an inspiration to those of faith. He was one of the few people, if not the only person to talk the talk and walk the walk when it came to living up to the Christian ethos. I have too many fond memories to list and too many ways he shaped my life to share, but I will always have them in my heart. I love you always, Gramp. You will be missed by all who knew you. Until we meet again.

We are so sorry to hear of Jack's passing! He was a loving kind man & always so pleasant to talk to! Mum & Dad loved to have him & Dot over to visit with us & when my mother was dying with breast cancer Dot would cook & I would clean & Jack would come & have prayer with her & us! I always looked up to Jack as a Christian! May he rest in peace until that resurrection day! Love, Donna & Ron Weston

Over all the years , we would see uncle Jack on and off since my family had moved to Alberta, but I always remember the time we would visit with uncle Jack he would joke he made us all laugh he was the sweetest man , and the love he had for our Lord and saviour was beyond measure , he was always trying to tell you about the Lord , I got to visit him last summer my last visit , and I am so glad I got to we sang old sabbath hymns and you could just see his face light up and I knew he knew ,Love you uncle Jack ,till we meet again.
