It's been hard to find the words to say after losing you, All these months knowing you're gone have felt unreal, I regret not seeing you more, and I wish I had seen you Christmas dinner. Even though as I grew up I seen you less and less I never forgot about you and I always cherished the moments we had, I'm forever grateful that you were my cousin, for the times you protected me and always made sure I was ok. Everyday I miss you more and more. I love you so much and although our time together was cut short, I'll forever keep you in my soul, heart, and memories.

I can't believe its almost been two months since you left this world words can't express how much I miss you. It still feels so unbelievable. I miss the happiness and brightness you brought to everyone around you, and your big warm hugs. You had a way of making everyone around you feel seen and heard. I remember the laughter we shared together and all the memories we made and I will never forget those I feel both happy and sad when I think of you, grateful for all the memories and time I had with you but wishing it wasn't cut so short. I miss and love you so much.

I will forever remember the memories we had and keep them in my heart I remember ALWAYS running into your arms to hug you when I was over, you making me chicken nuggets and helping me with the tv, always protecting me and making sure I was safe from pando, letting me play on your phone while swinging in the hammock outside your back door while you made beats and auntie was making dinner, you showing me your room and what you changed, showing me the new beats you made, you teaching me how to make beats and rap, letting me hangout in your room with you while you made music. I will never forget and forever hold those memories close with me in my heart. You had so much ahead of you and you were so loved everyone misses you. I still can’t believe your gone I haven’t seen you in years and now your gone I will forever love and miss you.

I didn’t know Nicholas very well but when he came and dropped off his Nan, (my chosen sister Shirley) for a surprise visit this fallI was overjoyed. I gave him a big hug and told him I loved him, I got a bigger hug in return. I can’t believe that he’s gone and the grief, shock and pain that this wonderful family is feeling. My heart aches for you and my prayer is that God will give you the strength you need to get through this awful tragedy. My deepest sympathies, I love you all and you are not grieving alone because my heart is grieving as well . All my love Celie

I remember the day Nicholas was born, a beautiful September morning, and now that sweet baby is gone. My heart and my thoughts are with his family during this devastating time.

My interactions with Nicholas over years was enough to appreciate the enormous loss of such a young spark and bright light. A loss to his family and to us all as a community.
At difficult and confusing times such as this, I can only offer the comfort and the peace, that can only come from the guiding and supportive hands of your strong spiritual beliefs.
In the journey ahead may Gods hand hold and comfort the family, when the burden of loss seems to heavy to bear.
