Obituary of Guy Bernard

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Guy Joseph Edmund Louis Bernard, which occurred on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Guy was born in Montreal, QC, on January 10, 1945, and was the son of the late Rene and Margurite (Dufresne) Bernard.

Guy is survived by his loving wife of almost 57 years, Barbara (Dempster) Bernard of Sussex, NB; his daughters: Darlene McCormick of Penobsquis, NB, Angela Bernard and her partner Scott Snider of Penobsquis, NB; grandchildren: Zachary, Madison, Noah, Kristopher, Brayden, Carter, and Summer Ann; his brothers Andre Bernard (Solange) and Robert Bernard. Besides his parents, Guy was predeceased by his brother Jean Paul, and granddaughter Hailey.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, where all services will be held privately by the family.
