Aunt Denelda, your presence in this life was felt by everyone, I was grateful to have had the opportunity to see you last summer, sit down and talk with you and catch up, never did I think that that would be the last time, I remember our conversation after Ryan’s passing and how heartbroken you were, I recall, you hugging me very tightly as I did to you, and I wouldn’t let go until you did, my heart was broken for you then and it breaks now because of your passing, I think back to when you and uncle Wayne took me in for the summer because I had to go to summer school near your house and as scary as it was to leave my family for that long as a child, you graciously made me feel like a part of yours, you will be sorely missed.
Uncle Wayne, My heart breaks for you, the pain of losing your lifelong partner is the hardest challenge in life to deal with, I cannot fathom or even contemplate losing mine and I know Troy feels the same way. I remember after my accident, you came to see me the very next day at home, I was so surprised and very grateful, that is also a memory. I will never forget so thank you for that and just know you’re in my prayers in this deepest time of sadness.
Troy, losing a mother at any age is one of the most difficult things a child will ever deal with, nothing ever prepares you and no matter how much time has passed, the pain will remain, the best you can hope for is to create new memories and happiness that distract you from that pain, our mother‘s own a piece of our heart, and nobody can ever replace that, just remember to always talk about her and keep her memory alive. My cousin, my friend, I’ve got your back if you ever need anything and that goes without saying, I love all of you, God bless you all.
