Dear Bonnie,
I was sorry to hear of Dave's passing. It brought back memories of the good times and lots of laughs we shared working and travelling as Lions (with Don Smith and others) around the province. I will miss his smile and laugh.
I got the info late as I was sailing the Caribbean and didn't have connections until Sunday.

Bonnie and family, although not unexpected, learning that Dave has passed still seems shocking. Dave had such a special presence. The first time I met Dave (and Bonnie) was at Catherine's birthday party at Rick and Jane's. To say the least, these gatherings had many family members present, Dave made me feel so welcomed to the family! My heart dropped 10 feet when I saw Dave's obit. Pat, myself and Amanda and Patrick met you both through Hamton Lions Club. Many memories of you and Dave letting us bring the kids for a swim in your pool. You both always had a smile on your faces. I met Dave when I worked for Canadian Blood Services. One of my many memories is when we were on the run that had us going to Rogersville. He always wanted to go to Mr Tomatte because they not only had a bakery, they had a neat gift shop. He loved to get his Bonnie a unique gift.
Another good memory is when I was invited to your place with some of the team members. To watch you two dance was soooo sweet.
He always had a smile on his face, Whenever anyone spoke of Dave, it was always with a smile. You were both very LOVED by the teams.
