Obituary of Art Chambers

It is with great sadness that the family of William Arthur “Art” Chambers announce his passing which occurred on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB. Art was born in Hampton, NB, on April 15, 1950.

Art is survived by his children: Krista Doherty (Matt) of Quispamsis, NB, Wendi Jones (Frank) of Penobsquis, NB, and Jen Hughes (Darrell) of Hampton, NB; grandchildren: Marcus Doherty, Zachary Doherty, Alex Jones, Nikole Jones, Cora Hughes, Austin Hughes, Jesse Hughes and Savanna Hughes; great grandchildren: Catrina, Evelynn, Blakely, Mason, and Theodore; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Art was predeceased by his loving wife Faye (Douthwright) Chambers in 2023 and enfant daughter Tammy Chambers.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB and will be held privately.
