Obituary of Michael Ray Skinner

It is with great sadness that the family of Michael Ray Skinner announce his passing, which occurred on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB. Born in California, USA, on May 1, 1954, he was the son of the late Harold and Virginia (Hense) Skinner.

Mike is survived by his loving wife Susan Skinner of Long Reach, NB; children: Stephen Skinner and Jody Skinner both of Vancouver Island, BC; step-children: Justin Thibodeau (Taylynn) of Edmonton, AB, Kyle Thibodeau (Lesley) of Saint John, NB, and Riley Thibodeau (Michelle) of Edmonton, AB; grandchildren: Gavin, Ethan, Kinsley, Brydon, Kaylee, Abigail, Hayden, Everly and Kenna; brothers: Leonard Skinner and Ronald Skinner both of the USA; sisters: Vonnie Jurin (Charlie), Marilyn Bowman (Wayne) and Michelle Skinner all of the USA; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mike was predeceased by his brother Brian Skinner.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541) 1063 Main Street Hampton, NB, where they will be held privately.
