It is with great sadness, the family of Kenneth Taber of Bloomfield, NB, husband of Shirley (Floyd) Taber announces his passing which occurred on February 15, 2014, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born on May 3, 1941 in Bloomfield, NB, the son of the late Gerald and Emma (Lounsbury) Taber. Ken is survived by his wife; two sons Albert (Suzanne Sharpe-Taber) and Glen (Deborah) Taber all of Bloomfield; three sisters Deborah (Wayne) McEachern of Bloomfield, Brenda (Rosber) Wortman of Saint John and Sharon (Richard) Chambers of Edmonton, AB; two brothers Allan Taber and Dwight (Margaret) Taber all of Bloomfield and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is resting at Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, with visiting on Monday, February 17, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm. Funeral service, conducted by, Rev. John Tremblett will be held from Reid’s Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00am on Tuesday, February 18, 2014. Interment will in in Riverbank Cemetery, Norton, NB in the spring. A reception will be held at Central Norton United Baptist Church, Bloomfield following the service.
