Pam Olive

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pamela Louise Olive (née Raeburn), who passed away on March 17, 2026, at the age of 70, just two days before her birthday.

Pam passed in Oliver, British Columbia, while enjoying the winter season in nearby Osoyoos—a place she loved. Born in New Brunswick, she later made her way west and in recent years, she enjoyed time spent traveling between Alberta and British Columbia.

Pam was the beloved wife, best friend, and everything to Curtis Olive. Together, they shared a life full of fun, including many miles with Pam behind the wheel of her Mustang, riding on the back of Curtis’s motorcycle, and enjoying music side by side—singing and playing guitar together.

She was a loving mother to Jeffrey (Rachel), Jocelyn (Shane), and Melody (Dean), and a grandmother to Kieran, William, Stephen, Natasha, Jessica, and Myah. She was a dear sister to Sheryl (Greg), Mike (Patty), and Carl (Barb), and the cherished daughter of the late Vera and Bruce Raeburn. She is also remembered by the Olive family.

Pam will be remembered as a fun and spirited mom, a wonderful sister, and, above all, a deeply loving wife. She had a great sense of humor, was at home in any kitchen, loved the Edmonton Oilers, had a deep love of music, and had a way of speaking her mind with both honesty and heart. She truly enjoyed life.

She leaves behind many special friends who will miss her dearly.

Pam lost a swift battle to cancer, and her passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

There will be no formal funeral service. Those who knew her are invited to keep her in their memories and, if they wish, raise a glass in her honor.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Pam can do so to the Hampton Fire Department. Personal condolences to the family and donations may be made through ReidsFH.com
